Removing a Large Tree Along a Fence & Property Line
Case Tree Service was called to a home in Euless, TX to remove a large mature red oak that had declined significantly, with a substantial amount of deadwood throughout the canopy. Because of the tree’s size, condition, and limited working space, the removal required a combination of careful rigging and strategic felling for sections that could not be safely lowered. The project was completed for a local Vietnam veteran and included full debris removal, stump grinding, and a thorough cleanup of the property.
How We Removed This Large Red Oak in Euless
Large Declining Red Oak
This large mature red oak in Euless had declined significantly, with substantial deadwood throughout the canopy. Its location near the fence and home made careful planning important from the start.
Careful Sectional Removal
The upper canopy was removed in smaller sections to safely reduce the tree piece by piece. Limited working space meant each cut had to be planned around the surrounding property.
Rigging & Strategic Felling
The removal used both controlled rigging and strategic felling depending on each section. Some pieces could be lowered by rope, while others had to be directed safely to the ground.
Working Around Obstacles
The fence, house, pool pump and filter system, and underground irrigation all created challenges during the job. Each obstacle had to be considered throughout both the removal and stump work.
Stump Grinding & Cleanup
After the tree was down, the stump was ground while working carefully around the underground irrigation system and close proximity to the fence. The homeowner chose to keep the stump clippings on site after grinding.
Clean Finished Result
Once the removal and stump grinding were complete, the remaining debris was cleaned up and the area was left open and usable. With no grass present, final cleanup was straightforward and efficient.
